All teams and departments should be able to provide the following presentation when meeting other teams / departments. This will reduce the siloed nature of companies and improve understanding of what everyone does.
15minutes to explain –
What does the team / department do.
Share how they interface / work with the team / department they are presenting too.
Share how the team / department they are presenting too can help the person’s team / department succeed.
Share how the person’s team / department can help the team / department that they are presenting too succeed.
So it is sort of like “speed dating” but for sharing what everyone does and how everyone can help each other achieve the strategic aims of the company.
