Data – is your data in your HCM correct and up to date for all countries and payrolls?
How are you identifying employees in your HCM – USA employees and ROW?
Each employee needs to be linked to payroll : legal entity. So Singapore employees, France employees. Every employee not based in the USA cannot belong to ROW
How are the experts in your company about the HCM? Do you have in house experts? If not, will you contract experts e.g. workday consultants
What is your expectation of your global SaaS provider
V
What does the global SaaS provider actually does
For example the global SaaS provider is at the end of the process. They tell the client what data is needed (employee demographic / master data), the format they need it in, then the data validation testing they will do on the input test file
So it is not the global SaaS provider who will tell you how your HRIS is configured or how your data is. They just tell you if the data file and data was accepted
So the client has to be the expert on their HRIS and data or contract an expert
The SaaS provider is not a HRIS consultant (unless this has been contracted)
Data – what data is needed to run payroll – master data from HRIS and local / country data via country templates. HRIS cannot hold all data for payroll calculations for every country in the world (system limitations or legal limitations )
