A tool that is a game changer in project management for me is the record functionality in Microsoft Teams.
Any call where we are walking the client through the system or performing training is now recorded. Then the client has the link to the recording of the meeting (screen sharing and audio) so they can return to it in the future.
I am also using the recording function for meeting about internal knowledge transfer or onboarding new team members. So instead of expecting the audience to take on everything at once of the knowledge transfer is a brain dump session it is recorded they can return to it at anytime.
For clients it is useful to record any kick off presentations where you explain the project objectives, what has been bought and the key points that they need to remember and communicate internally e.g. 3 most important parts of an outsourcing project is data, requirements and internal change management. The client can then share the link to the recording of the presentation so a pdf of a PowerPoint deck is not just shared on its own with no context.
