
Multinational organisation payroll outsourcing project team – do you know the following about your offices around the world? –
- The legal name and address of the company that will receive the payroll service. This is the employer of the employees who will receive the salary calculated by the payroll provider
- Company registration numbers of the legal entity (employer)
- Tax and social security registration numbers of the legal entity (employer)
- Confirmation that there is an in-country bank account in the local currency and that this bank account is funded to pay the taxes and salaries
These may sound like obvious things to ask or even that these questions are redundant. But you would be surprised at how many times the multinational that is headquartered in another country knows about their people, offices and processes in other countries.
Clients should have this information before the payroll outsourcing project starts as these can take significant time obtain and this could delay the project and increase costs to the client.
