When can you react or do something about what is worrying you?
Can you do anything to change the situation?
Can you materially change the person that is causing you to spend time, energy and happiness thinking about them?
Possible answers for yourself
If you cannot fix something now and it is not in your control then you do not need to spend time, energy and happiness thinking about it
If you cannot change the person then you do not need to spend time, energy and happiness thinking about it
Accept the reality and focus on what you can control
