Next time you visit fast food restaurant like McDonald’s, look at what they do. Everything they do has a process and these processes have been designed so food can be delivered to the client as quickly as possible to a repeatable and consistent level of quality.
This allows the employees to provide a polite and professional service to the client so the time the client spends in the restaurant is a pleasurable one.
This standardization allows McDonald’s to be innovative with new burgers, drinks and products (McCafe etc) while being able to consistently deliver their core product of a meal quickly.
