Definition – What is Project Management?

The PMI defines project management as

“Project management, then, is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements.”

This means that project management are the techniques, skills, tools (software) and personal abilities of the project manager to deliver the project.
